## Product Details

Replacing conveyor wear strips is a time-consuming exercise, and the false economy of fitting inferior wear strips is rarely worth the saving in initial cost. [Movex](https://www.slplastics.co.uk/movex/) wear strips are manufactured to consistent dimensional standards and proven material specifications, ensuring long service life and predictable replacement cycles.

The range covers UHMW-PE, PE-HD and nylon wear strips for chains, modular belts and side guides, in profiles to suit every common conveyor configuration. UHMW-PE is the workhorse material for general applications, offering excellent abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction. PE-HD suits lighter-duty applications where cost is a factor, and nylon is specified where higher temperature resistance or load-bearing capability is required.

Cut-to-length service is available for non-standard installations, and the most-used profiles are held in UK stock for same or next-day dispatch on planned maintenance and breakdown orders.
